Flowers oh my heavens: Featured Vendor Acorn and Evergreen of Kent
One of my favorite things to talk about with couples, is their flowers! So much detail is put into each wedding when it comes to florals it makes my heart just burst with excitement. Why? it is so personal to each couple! From the color palette, to the texture and sometime even a family heirloom too! When choosing your florals keep in mind the time of year, color palette, and texture you want to convey. Then the next step is to talk with with your florist make sure you both are on the same page. Next trust them! I cannot say this enough, trust your florist. They have done a wedding or hundred and know what is in season, how much it costs, weather tolerant (also some flowers are shipped from tropical places so hurricanes may affect these deliveries). My favorite local spot to get all my plants and florals from: Acorn and Evergreen of Kent, these ladies rock! so resourceful and knowledgeable on all the plants and flowers in the area. Not to mention their work is AMAZING!!! We worked on a creative project last fall and it turned out wonderful. The creative juices were flowing that day and the bohemian vibe was over the top!
